Vertical integration in the electronics industry from a RBP

The book addresses the codependences between the vertical integration and the resource-based perspective of companies operating in the electronics industry. The electronics industry is a rapidly changing market, characterized by reduced operating margin, high capital expenditures, short product life cycle and a global supply chain. Companies which are competing in such a market are facing the same challenges and using similar resources. However, they do not achieve the same success level.
